Angin Föhn

Angin bertiup kencang hari ini, bahkan dalam sejam terakhir tiupan angin terekam sekitar 69 km per jam dari arah selatan.  Begitulah fenomena angin dari selatan yang sering melanda Innsbruck, lebih dikenal dengan Föhn. Ya, angin jenis ini terjadi karena ada sejumlah massa udara yang bertiup naik menuju pegunungan atau di tepi sebuah dataran tinggi dan setelah sampai di puncaknya kemudian bertiup turun ke sisi gunung yang satunya. Ketika massa udara ini mencapai lembah atau kaki gunung, suhunya naik sedangkan kelembaban relatifnya menurun. Fenomena Föhn ditemukan di semua daerah pegunungan. Di Innsbruck, dimana deretan pegunungan Alpen (Alps) merentang, tentu saja Föhn sering berkunjung terutama pada saat musim semi (spring) dan musim gugur (autumn). Belum dibuktikan secara ilmiah akan tetapi ada efek yang timbul dari fenomena Föhn ini antara lain stress fisik dan pikiran (gejala pusing) pada manusia yang kadang bisa menyebabkan fenomena kedokteran sosial tertentu seperti meningkatnya kecelakaan lalu lintas dan bahkan sampai terjadi kasus bunuh diri.

Ada salah satu website yang bisa dibilang akurat untuk memantau dan memprediksi cuaca, terutama kedatangan angin Föhn. Website ini adalah http://zamg.ac.at yaitu Institut Pusat Meteorologi dan Geodinamik yang didirikan tahun 1851 dan merupakan salah satu badan cuaca nasional Austria.

Was gibt es in Sleman?

In der Stadt gibt es zwei große Universitäten. Sie heißen UGM und UNY. Es gibt viele Studenten un Studentinnen. Sleman hat den aktivsten vulkan der Welt. Er heißst Merapi (Vulkan). Es gibt viele Flüsse und eine schöne Landschaft. Im Norden von Sleman gibt es einen Naturpark mit mehreren touristischen Attraktionen zum Biespiel die "lava tour".


Bekannt sind in Sleman der Prambanan Tempel, die Früchte "salak pondoh" und viele Vogelarten. Die Hauptsraße heißst Kaliurang-straße. Sie liegt im Zentrum von Sleman. In dieser straße findet viele Studentenheime aber es gibt kein Kino und keinen Zoo.

Latin: December. From the word decem, ten, because it was the 10th month in the old Roman calendar.
